Hey im looking to buy a new headset my $ limit is around $200 give or take a bit,
Iv been recommended both the hyperX cloud 2 and the hyperX revolver but after watching some reviews both have good merits so i was wondering what would anyone recommend be it one of these two or something else. I have a Blue yeti desktop mic so it doesnt need to have a microphone but when i travel to lans i wouldnt be taking my yeti so it might be useful to have one.

Suggestions?

Steelseries Siberias are really solid for their price, ranges from 60-120. But yeah can't go wrong with Cloud 2s

I use a ATH-M50x with a modmic 4.0, haven't had any issues with it and doubles as a sick headset to listen to music with. Cost me about ~$215 all up but waited for some deals.

Pretty much what has been said SS Siberia 200 or a Sennheiser headset powered by a decent sound card that has a headset ampilfier should be suffice when it comes to competitive gaming.

Cloud 2's are good, but nothing special. Mostly just bang for your buck.

I'm way too elitist with my audio/headphones

Samson SR850 + Modmic 5
(Superlux HD668B as backup)

I like using open/semi because of soundstage
