Infinite Warfare: CGPL Autumn Qualifier Information

Welcome all,

It brings us all great pleasure to be able to bring more information regarding the first season of Infinite Warfare leagues. With the announcement of the CyberGamer Premier League, there are plenty of exciting opportunities for Call of Duty on CG. Before we kick off the league however, we have plenty of competition leading up with FFYI's.

Divisions

This year will see the usual three league format for Call of Duty which will include the following:
  • CyberGamer Profiessional (CGp)
  • CyberGamer Main (CGm)
  • CyberGamer Amateur (CGa)

CyberGamer Professional will feature the usual eight team format with the T4 teams at the conclusion of the pool play stage competing at a LAN final at the new CyberGamer Studio in April.

CyberGamer Main will also feature 8 teams. Finals will comprise of an ODC where the T4 teams will compete in a BO5 Double Elimination Bracket with the GF played on stream.

CyberGamer Amateur will be open to all who do not qualify for CGp or CGm with the ladder open for registration soon. Finals will be played in the same ODC fashion as CGm with more details released in the coming weeks.

How To Qualify

Each league will have a different way to qualify, however, teams may attempt to qualify for all leagues. If they are unsuccessful in qualifying for CGp and CGm, they may also play in the open CGa league.

CGp will have four of the registered teams invited by the admin team, and then have two FFYI tournaments where teams can earn the remaining spots. The T2 teams from each FFYI tournament will have qualified to compete in CGp. Unlike previous years, any team and player may compete in CGp. For teams wishing to compete in CGp, registrations will close at 11:59 PM Friday 13th January.

CGm will be selected from the remaining teams after the completion of the FFYI tournaments. Eight teams will be invited by the admin team to compete in CGm.

To compete in the CGp FFYI's or any league, all users must have an active Premium subscription. Any player competing that is without premium will have their current game forfeited

Note: Players who qualify for the LAN finals, written parental consent will be required for players 15 years or younger.

Which teams are invited?
It wouldn't make sense to have them not already invited/announced before this FFYI on the weekend.
